On our way to the Black Forest we stayed in Rothenburg for one night. We fell in love with this city when we first visited less than a month ago.. we started looking for events or fests that would land us back here. Plus it was on our way to the Black Forest making the drive shorter the next day. We found a cute guest house right near the medieval wall of the city but outside so we didn't have to deal with parking and tourist. Parking and breakfast were both included with our stay. We highly suggest, Gasthof zur Linde, and used booking.com to find it.
Live music, wine, and food huts set up with typical long benches and tents for shade. There was an Italian food and wine hut that we liked the best, plus was the cheapest. The live music was a two man German band, wish there were a few more acts you really could not hear them unless they were playing right at your table. Great yet small fest. We loved it.
