National Park Sachsische Schweiz/ Swiss Saxony Adventure weekend continues after our two day stay in Dresden, Germany. Only a 30 minute drive from Dresden is the National Park with the famous Bastei bridge. We arrived in the afternoon after brunch in Dresden. Luckily, the weather stayed dry for us, although rain was in the forecast it stayed clear but cloudy. Words can not describe the vast glory and natural beauty of this area. From the unique rock gorges to the Elbe River cutting through the vast landscapes. There is the main trail that leads the brige as well as a few trails off that lead you to stunning picturesque views of the brige. Also, you can hike all day in the area and even to the closest small towns and down to the Elbe River.
